DiamondDigger 2 is a puzzle game, and sequel to the popular DiamondDigger1. It is always a fascinating experience to go on a treasure hunt, and this game, spread over 20 time bound levels relives that experience to the hilt. The player has to dig and search for diamonds to ultimately reach the rich diamonds deposit deep inside the earth. Behold, its not as simple as it looks – though the game starts simple, it progressively becomes more challenging pushing the player’s ability for quick thinking, strategizing and decision making while he works around the life-threatening obstacles like land mines, blazing lava, metal eating beetles etc. The loss of diamonds already collected in deep crevices (broken tiles) and hard rocks blocking the path further frustrate the player.

The player has five lives to complete the game, with power-up like fuel which provides additional time to complete a level. There is dynamite available too for destroying the obstacles & reaching the destination. The player scores with each diamond collected as well as time saved in completing each level.
